Greetings Pendleton families!
My name is Mrs. Leota and I am excited to be the Principal of Pendleton. It is an honor to have been selected by the Buena Park School District to serve this fantastic community of learners. I am excited to begin the 2021-2022 school year! As a team, we will work towards continued academic growth, while meeting the social emotional needs of our scholars.
I believe that every child is unique and if they are provided with a caring, secure and engaging environment, they will grow intellectually, emotionally and socially. As your Principal, I will work to support students in those three areas, with a deep understanding that we are not only working to prepare our students for the next grade, but for the future! I further believe in open communication and a strong home to school connection.
We value our families and encourage you to participate in our committees (PTA, ELAC, SSC) and invite you to attend our events throughout the year.
Our first day of school is August 17, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This is a Minimum Day! Kid Connection and ASES will be open regular hours on the first day of school.
Breakfast and lunch is free for all students. Breakfast is served everyday from 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. To ensure the health and safety of all students and staff, visitor access is prohibited at this time. Student drop off and pick up is only on Page Street. The front parking lot is reserved only for busses. The bell schedule, bus schedule, uniform policy and Parent Portal registration information are attached for your review.
As a reminder, Parents and Guardians of all new and returning students are required to complete their child’s Annual Registration by logging in to the Parent Portal account and completing the Data Confirmation Process. Class lists will not be posted, but your child’s class assignment is listed on Parent Portal.
